Welcome to Extreme Friesian Stables

We’re the Michielli family, proud owners and operators of Extreme Friesian Stables, residing in the beautiful city of Moscow, Idaho. With a history of horse experience—Joe’s grandfather bred and raced Thoroughbreds while he also rode Quarter Horses, and I have been riding since I was five across various disciplines like barrel racing, hunter jumping, and dressage. When I suggested Friesians, Joe’s enthusiasm was infectious, and after extensive research on the breed, we were thrilled to welcome our first two yearling fillies into our home. It has been a significant learning experience, but we embraced the challenges, starting with young horses to nurture a strong bond and ensure we could care for them as they grew. Our now mares have distinct personalities; Isadora of Windy Hallow, affectionately called Izzy, is a spirited sport-type with a tall neck full of energy, while Geartje Fan Black Pearl, known as Gabby, is gentle and sweet, quickly becoming the favorite of our kids. Both have enriched our lives with their unique traits, and we continue to learn from them daily. Our herd has since expanded to over a dozen KFPS Royal Friesians, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards in our breeding program to honor the noble heritage of this remarkable breed for generations to come. We provide exceptional care, quality products, and training for our horses and feel honored to have them in our lives. We are eager to share our experiences and provide new Friesian owners the chance to acquire their very own KFPS registered Royal Friesian.
